What this policy covers

This policy applies to Manita Collections in both places you can shop with us: this website, and the “Manita Collection” Android app published on Google Play by Manita Collection Dhansa. Wherever this policy says “we” or “our store”, it means both.

Information we collect

When you create an account or place an order, we collect your name, mobile number, delivery address and order history. We may also collect basic device and usage data when you browse the site. Payment details (card, UPI, netbanking) are entered on our payment partner's secure screen — Manita Collections never sees or stores your full card or UPI credentials.

What the Android app collects

In the “Manita Collection” app we collect your mobile number, which is how you sign in — we send a one-time password (OTP) to it. We also store a profile photo, but only if you choose to upload one from your device's photo library; your saved delivery addresses; your cart and wishlist; and your order history.

The app does not collect your location, your contacts, audio, or camera data. Apart from the single photo you pick for your profile, it does not read files on your device.

How we use your information

We use your information to process and deliver your orders, confirm payments, send order and delivery updates, respond to your queries, prevent fraud, and improve our products and website. We may contact you about your order on the mobile number you provide.

How we share information

We share only what is necessary to fulfil your order, and this is the same whether you ordered on the website or in the app. Our courier and delivery partners receive your name, mobile number and delivery address so they can deliver your parcel. Our payment processor, Razorpay, receives the transaction details it needs to complete and verify your payment. Our analytics provider (see “Cookies & analytics” below) receives usage data on our behalf.

These are the only parties we share your data with. We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to keep you signed in, remember your cart and understand how the site is used so we can make it better. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Data security & retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Payments are processed over secure, encrypted connections. We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and accounting requirements.

When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted with it. Records of past orders and payments are retained in anonymised form, because Indian tax and accounting law requires a business to keep its sales records. Those records are no longer linked to a usable account and the shipping address on them is scrubbed.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time. In the app, go to Profile → Delete my account; it takes effect immediately. If you can no longer sign in, send us a request and we will action it within 7 working days.

Children

Our store is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
